Rapper Wale dropped his fourth studio album, The Album About Nothing today and not to overstate…it feels like his best project yet. Listening and streaming links after the click.
When Wale was asked about what he hopes for the reaction to his newest album – The Album About Nothing – relaeased today, March 31st, he told Billboard Magazine:
“I gave this my all…I want people to be like, ‘Your album’s just as good as Kendrick [Lamar]’s or Esperanza Spalding or Beck.’ I work just as hard as them.”
…and out of all his projects, I think this is the album where he might actually get what he hoped for. The album itself is mainly him, with just a few features from J.Cole, Usher, Jeremih and SZA.
