Reports are swirling that Bobbi Kristina’s family have decided to pull the plug on her life support tomorrow, February 11th, on the anniversary of her mother’s death. The family has since denied the claim; more on the click.
Earlier today, Vibe reported:
In devastating news, the Houston family has reportedly decided to end Bobbi Kristina’s life support on the anniversary of the death of Whitney Houston (Feb. 11). According to Page Six, the idea came by way of Houston’s mother, Cissy, who intends to “keep the mother and daughter together for eternity.”
The 21-year-old daughter of Houston and Bobby Brown has been on a ventilator and in a medically-induced since the date of her bathtub incident (Jan. 31). She was found unresponsive and has reportedly been showing signs of diminished brain activity. Last week, Bobbi Kristina was transferred to Emory University Hospital, a leading hospital in the nation for neurological care. The final decision was made by Brown, according to TMZ.
Filmmaker, Tyler Perry, was reportedly in charge of funeral preparations.
Since that story came out today, the Brown-Houston family has reportedly denied the rumors to USWeekly:
Despite rumors, Bobbi Kristina Brown will not be taken off life support on the third anniversary of her mother Whitney Houston’s death, a Houston family source tells Us Weekly. Adding that there was “no truth to that at all.’
We’ll wait on official word but either way it goes, this is such a tragic situation. Prayers for the family.
