The Vanguard list of top celebrity endorsements is out and from what we can tell, Naija celebrities are not hurting for cash. Check out the worth of some of your favorites, in just endorsement deals alone, after the click.
Ever wonder how much your favorite celebrities are worth? Vanguard Newspaper took a stab at trying to ascertain just how much entertainers are making these days and the numbers are as big as we expected. Check out the list of top celebrity endorsement values, below:
Genevieve Nnaji – N220 million
Genevieve Nnaji represents or has represented several brands including Lux, Cintrion Energy drink, Range Rover Evogue, Etisalat, Polo and Amstel Malta. The Etisalat deal alone netted her N100 million, while the Polo deal brought in N70m and the Cintrion endorsement brings in an additional N50 million for the actress.
Iyanya –N151 million
Since wining MTN project fame in 2008, Iyanya has raked up the endorsements; he’s got a deal with MTN worth N60m, he has another with Zinox computers worth N57m and one with with phone manufacturing company Solo Mobile worth N35m.
P-Square – N140 million
Peter and Paul Okoye bring in an estimated N140 million as Glo Ambassadors.
Wizkid – N101 million
Wizkid’s MTN endorsement deal is valued at N45million while his deal with Pepsi brings in about N56.7m. He also has a deal with Guinness though the value of that isn’t public knowledge.
D’Banj – N100 million
Dbanj’s is a Glo Ambassador with the deal estimated to be worth about N100 million.
Banky W – N100 million
Nr. Wellington’s pockets are growing, with his Samnsung Mobile and MTN endorsement deals bringing in an estimated N100 million
Don Jazzy – N75 million
Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy ‘s deal with Loya Milk nets him at least N50 million while his deal with MTN brings in about N25 mil. Figures for his Samsung Africa deal are unknown.
Omawumi – N35 million
Songstress, Omawumi is also a Glo Ambassader, netting her around N25 million while her deal with Konga is said to be worth 10 million. She’s got other endorsements too – with Mortein and Malta Guinness – that add to her coffers.
Tiwa Savage – N30 million
Tiwa Savage reportedly brings in N30 mill from her deal with MTN alone. Other endorsements on her plate include Pepsi, Forte Oil and Maggi.
Davido – N30 million
BET’s Best African Act 2014, musician Davido, has endorsement deals with MTN Pulse and Guinness Nigeria; the MTN deal is said to be worth N30million.
Funke Akindele – N20 million
Aside from the N60 million naira Funke ‘Jenifa’ Akindele is said to have made from the Jenifa franchise, her endorsement deals are pretty lucrative. Her Vitafoam contract is said to bring in N20mill alone. While her deals with Glo, Jobberman.com, Qlichy.com, Klin Detergent, Lagos Inland Revenue Service and Nigeria’s premier detergent, OMO, further add to her pocket.
KCee & Chidinma – N20 million each
Mr. Limpopo (KCee) and Chidinma are both MTN Ambassadors with their deals said to be worth N20million each.

We’re sure if by some means, each of the celebrities published the exact numbers for all their deals, we’d probably be astonished. And the positions on this list would probably change. Funke Akindele has to be making a grip – her Lagos State IRS endoresements alone must be ridic.
