Lil Wayne wants out of Cash Money. And he’s taking his case to court. Find out how much he’s suing Cash Money boss, Birdman, for after the click.
Looks like things have gone from bad to worse in the Lil Wayne vs. Cash Money dispute. Wayne has gone on record, calling himself a prisoner of the label and now that talks to get out from his contract have completely broken down, he’s stopping at nothing to get out. Including suing Bryan ‘Birdman‘ Williams and the Cash Money label for millions. According Pitchfork & TMZ:
TMZ reports that Wayne will ask a judge to declare him free from Cash Money, arguing that the label violated his contract by withholding the album’s release. Wayne is also reportedly planning to sue Birdman for his promised $8 million Tha Carter V advance.
Birdman has reportedly promised that Tha Carter V will be released “in due time”.
Hmm…due time, ey? Due time sounds like Nevuary 31st, 2560.
