You know your city is on the up and ups (economically at least) when a five star hotel comes in to the neighborhood. Recently, Lagos Governor Fashola and many of the city’s high fliers helped open the Intercontinental Lagos, a 5 star hotel that cost 30 Billion Naira (roughly $187,500,000 USD).
The hotel is 23 stories, and has 358 rooms, 4 restaurants, a 1,400 capacity ballroom, 6 meeting centers and a health and fitness center with a sauna and steam room. Plus, its the tallest hotel in West Africa. View a video of the opening festivities below:
