If you’ve been falling the PDP Drama, you’re aware that party Chairman Alhaji Bamanga Tukur went from alledgedly announcing his resignation, to making announcement that he had NOT resigned. Today, Pres. Jonathan shut down the whole matter by confirming that the Chairman was to be reassigned. More after the click.
While at a meeting of the National Executive Committie (NEC) in the Presidential Villa, Pres. GJ confirmed the resignation of the chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur. He noted:
“He is not guilty of any offence and I am going to give him an assignment that is even tougher than the PDP Chairmanship,” The President told members of NEC.
Tukur’s successor is expected to be from the North East and will likely be announced on Monday.
Boom. Politics. Wonder what this means for the party in general as we get closer to the 2015 elections.
