The family of Whitney Houston’s only child was faced with pulling the plug Wednesday after doctors told them there’s nothing more they can do.
Bobbi Kristina Brown, 21, remained in a coma in an Atlanta hospital, five days after she was pulled from a bathtub in an emergency eerily similar to her famous mother’s drug-overdose demise.
“It’s now a matter of when the family wants to let go and accept that she’s pretty much not going to make it,” a source close to the family told FOX411.
Doctors treating the aspiring singer have told her father, former New Edition frontman Bobby Brown, 45, that they’ve done all they can to save her life, the entertainment news agency reported.
“They’ve left it up to the family as to how long they want to keep her alive,” the source said.
So incredibly sad.
The person that apparently found Bobbi in the bathtub on Saturday is Max Lomas, an alleged drug dealer. The article notes:
Lomas, 24, was busted Jan. 15 on charges of possessing marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a generic version of the anti-anxiety drug Xanax and for illegally carrying a gun.
“There is no connection between the recent case involving firearms and drugs and the near drowning,” Holloway [Loma’s lawyer] said. “Lomas and Brown have been friends for several years.”
Can’t imagine what kind of pain Bobby Brown and Cissy Houston (Whitney’s mother) must be going through right now. Our condolences go out to them.
