Chris Bosh, two-time NBA Champion with Dwyane Wade and Lebron James of the Miami Heat, arrived in Ghana yesterday with his family for the Sprite Basketball Clinic. Photos after the click.
The star ballplayer was met at the airport by a ton of media, the Senior Director for NBA Africa, John Manyo Plange, officials of Coca-Cola Company Limited, the Ghana Basketball Association and Chief Executive of Rite Multimedia Yaw Sakyi Afari.
Addressing the media on arrival, the former Toronto Raptors player was hopeful his visit will make an impact on young basketball players in Ghana. He told reporters:
I always do a lot of travelling. I have friends from Ghana and I heard nothing but good things so it’s nice to be here to see it for myself.
He was also received a warm welcome by dancers dressed in traditional garb. Looked like he enjoyed their performance.
