In a statement made by the Police PR officer, Frank Mba, the Nigerian Police force is now offering a cash reward of 50 million naira (about 300,000 USD) for anyone with credible information that can lead to the location and safe return of the Chibok girls.  With that amount, Boko Haram themselves might give the girls back. Etisalat has agreed to sell its West African business to Maroc Telecom for $650 million. “Maroc Telecom has done pretty well with its own operations in sub-Saharan Africa, so Etisalat’s taking dvantage of Maroc Telecom’s demonstrable expertise in that region,” said Matthew Reed, principal analyst at Informa Telecoms and Media in Dubai. My favorite was number 4: You aren’t poor because you are Black. There is nothing about the tone of your skin, the texture of your hair or the languages and cultural practices of your mothers that makes you innately suitable for lives of servitude.
