Etisalat has agreed to sell its West African business to Maroc Telecom for $650 million. “Maroc Telecom has done pretty well with its own operations in sub-Saharan Africa, so Etisalat’s taking dvantage of Maroc Telecom’s demonstrable expertise in that region,” said Matthew Reed, principal analyst at Informa Telecoms and Media in Dubai. There is nothing about the tone of your skin, the texture of your hair or the languages and cultural practices of your mothers that makes you innately suitable for lives of servitude.
